3rd 12am - 8am

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team, focusing on the operation and handling of various machinery such as drill presses, shear presses, punch presses, straightening presses, torches, overhead cranes, forklifts, CombiLift, and saws. The role involves loading and unloading machines, operating hand and power tools, and ensuring smooth production processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and cross-train in multiple areas, including drill presses, shear presses, and overhead cranes.
• Load and unload machines, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Monitor machinery to ensure products are processed correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness of quench tanks and work areas.
• Perform housekeeping and special cleanup duties as required.
• Utilize hand and power tools for various tasks.
• Use overhead cranes to lift and move products safely.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in machine operation and general production.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours or more.
• Capability to follow directions accurately.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.51 - $20.01/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Crystal Lake,IL.
