Job Description

This Supervisory Program Manager position supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in the area of Support Services. The mission-critical program provides comprehensive training, safety, standards, curriculum development, and technical modernization services to ensure national border security agents can operate safely and effectively. 

As the Program Manager, you are the strategic anchor of the Support Services contract. Your leadership ensures that the systems and personnel training CBP agents to protect our borders are managed flawlessly. You don't just run a program; you directly impact national security by keeping our frontline operators safe and prepared. 

  • Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Hybrid in-office)

  • Status: Full-Time / Contingent Upon Contract Award

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) 

  • Lead the Mission: Act as the primary interface for the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and government stakeholders, ensuring contract deliverables exceed quality, timeline, and budgetary standards. 

  • Empower the Team: Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and operational oversight to a diverse team of project managers, developers, instructional designers, instructors, and training assistants 

  • Ensure Compliance: Lead strategic planning and monitor compliance with federal standards, including Section 508 accessibility, security protocols, and accreditation standards. 

  • Manage Resources: Coordinate resource allocation, project plans, risk mitigation, and financial modeling to ensure programmatic success. 

What You Bring (Qualifications) 

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of program or project management experience (federal government contracting environment highly preferred) 

  • Tools: Mastery of modern project management systems (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent). 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

  • Credentials: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly preferred. 

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a standard federal background investigation/suitability determination.
