Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for Special Education Teachers specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to work in a school setting in the Saint Paul, MN area. This position supports Extended School Year (ESY) programming, running from July 6th to July 30th, Monday through Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in alignment with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Implement behavioral and educational strategies that support student development and engagement during the ESY sessions.
• Collaborate with instructional staff and support personnel to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines.
• Foster positive communication with families and caregivers to ensure continuity of support.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a current Minnesota Special Education Teaching License with an endorsement in ASD or ABS.
• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum within educational settings.
• Strong understanding of individualized instructional strategies and behavioral interventions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality support during the summer ESY program.

• Saint Paul, Minnesota, with assignment aligned to the Spring Lake Park School District.
