Senior Medical Science Liaison - Mid Atlantic

Spencer Rigby has partnered with a pioneering precision oncology organisation advancing clinical decision-making through integrated real-world data and genomic intelligence platforms.

We are seeking a high-performing Medical Science Liaison to support strategic medical affairs initiatives including physician engagement, scientific education, and generation of actionable field insights.

This role requires a strong clinical and scientific background in oncology and comprehensive genomic profiling, with the ability to communicate complex data effectively to oncologists, pathologists, and advanced practice providers.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a scientific subject matter expert across oncology diagnostics, treatment landscapes, and emerging biomarker technologies
  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare stakeholders including oncologists, pathologists, lab leaders, and researchers
  • Deliver high-quality scientific presentations and facilitate peer-to-peer exchange on advanced oncology diagnostic solutions
  • Capture and communicate field insights on clinical research trends, unmet medical needs, and evolving testing practices
  • Provide internal scientific education and share market and medical intelligence with cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of molecular oncology, comprehensive genomic profiling, tumour biology, and targeted therapies
  • Established engagement and credibility within oncology KOL networks
  • Familiarity with genomic laboratory-developed testing (tissue and liquid biopsy) and regulatory frameworks such as CLIA and CAP
  • Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex clinical data clearly
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to operate autonomously in a field-based environment
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50%
