Position Summary

The Geologist will support an active exploration drilling program through core logging, sampling, geological data collection, and field support activities. Working under the supervision of senior geology staff, successful candidates will contribute to the collection and interpretation of geological information used to advance project development and resource growth.

Training on project-specific logging procedures and workflows will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Log drill core for lithology, alteration, mineralization, and structural features.

  • Assess and document geological characteristics of a gold mineralized system.

  • Mark drill core for sampling and maintain sample integrity through established QA/QC procedures.

  • Assist with geotechnical logging including recovery, RQD, and magnetic susceptibility measurements.

  • Collect and record structural measurements from oriented core when required.

  • Photograph and document drill core.

  • Coordinate with sampling and core-cutting personnel to maintain efficient workflows.

  • Visit active drill sites to collect field data and support exploration activities.

  • Participate in geological mapping, prospecting, and geochemical sampling programs as required.

  • Maintain accurate geological records and databases.

  • Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mineral exploration, mining, or related geological work.

  • Strong understanding of igneous, metamorphic, and structural geology.

  • Ability to identify rock types, alteration assemblages, and mineralization styles in drill core and hand specimen.

  • Experience with geological logging and database software.

  • Valid driver's license and ability to work safely in remote environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous core logging experience in exploration or mining environments.

  • Experience with gold deposits, intrusion-related gold systems, or porphyry-style mineralization.

  • Familiarity with oriented core techniques and structural geology.

  • Current First Aid certification.

  • Experience operating in remote field environments.

Camp Life

Camp accommodations include:

  • Private heated accommodations

  • Starlink internet access

  • All meals provided

  • Transportation support within the project area

Schedule

  • Approximately 40 days on / 20 days off

  • Full-time rotational schedule

  • Project expected to continue through year-end 2026 with potential for extension

Work Authorization
