Dental hygienist
Job Description Hygiene Services: Perform thorough dental hygiene services, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque and tartar buildup, and applying fluoride treatments and sealants.
Anesthesia: Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed for patient comfort.
Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments, including taking patient medical histories, checking vital signs, and charting conditions.
Imaging: Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays.
Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, explain treatment plans, and provide clear post-operative instructions.
Compliance: Maintain accurate patient records and strictly adhere to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations.
part-time $40 - $46 per hour

Licensure: Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of Idaho.
Certifications: Current CPR Certification.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control, and oral hygiene standards.
Skills: Ability to take vital signs and perform diagnostic evaluations.
Proficiency with dental practice management software.
Knowledge of medical coding and billing terminology.
Prior experience is a plus, but we are open to enthusiastic entry-level candidates.
