Summary As a Freight Broker at TSV Logistics, you will be instrumental in connecting shippers with carriers, facilitating smooth transportation processes. This role is vital to our mission of delivering exceptional logistics solutions while enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Establish and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers to facilitate freight movement. Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers to secure competitive pricing. Manage the entire freight process from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely execution. Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage logistics data. Analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and cost savings. Generate leads and develop new business opportunities within the logistics sector. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize transportation planning and execution. Qualifications Proven experience in logistics sales or freight brokerage is highly preferred. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices. Excellent customer relationship management skills with a focus on service excellence. Demonstrated ability in transportation planning and execution. Familiarity with transportation management systems is essential. Strong negotiation skills with a results-oriented mindset. Ability to analyze data for decision-making purposes related to logistics operations. Experience in lead generation within the transportation industry is a plus.
