Job Description: CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking Electronic Assembler candidates in the South Portland, ME area. As an Electronic Assembler at Saunders Electronics, you will install electronic components into various circuit board assemblies according to established processes and documentation. This role requires working within an ESD-controlled environment and assembling products in accordance with IPC-A-610 standards. This position reports to the Production Manager and supports high-quality manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Meet customer requirements using IPC-A-610 standards.
• Identify electronic components and their values.
• Understand and verify component polarity.
• Assemble miniature to large components, using magnification as required.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and processes.
• Follow operation sheets per engineering instructions.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and managers.
• Maintain the highest quality standards at all times.
• Label PCBs and prepare parts for boards.
• Depanel boards and perform general assembly operations.
• Work effectively and flexibly within a team environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow ESD controls and all safety rules.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hand-assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to identify electronic components and their values.
• Understanding of component polarity.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, assembly instructions, and process documentation.
• Comfortable working with miniature to large components, sometimes using visual magnification.
• Experience or familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to quality and detail.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Environment: ESD-controlled manufacturing environment
• Role Type: General tech/assembler (component prep, slide line, chassis assembly)
