Salary: $300,000 - $400,000 per year A bit about us: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our client in the Energy industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and drive our IT strategy, ensuring alignment with the business objectives of the organization. The CIO will be responsible for all aspects of our information technology and systems, including IT governance, enterprise technology strategy, and cybersecurity. The successful candidate should have a proven track record of leading IT transformation projects in complex environments and be comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels. Develop and implement a customer-focused IT strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives. 2. Lead the IT department in day-to-day operations, providing leadership for IT strategic initiatives. 3. Ensure the company's data remains secure by overseeing cybersecurity and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of threats and advancements in IT security. 4. Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery. 5. Establish IT policies and systems that will support the implementation of strategies set by upper management. 6. Build and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers. 7. Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs. 8. Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management. 9. Coordinate IT managers and supervise computer scientists, technicians and other professionals to provide guidance. 10. Control the IT department's output, user satisfaction and set goals to meet business needs. Qualifications 1. Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Masters degree preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior IT management role, preferably in the Energy industry. 3. Proven experience in IT strategic planning, organization, and development. 4. In-depth understanding of IT governance and operations. 5. Demonstrated experience in enterprise technology strategy and execution. 6. Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations. 7. Superior knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure. 8. Background in designing, developing, and implementing large scale IT projects. 9. Demonstrated ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team. 10. Excellent leadership and team management skills. 11. Strong understanding of project management principles. 12.
