Trilogy Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, supporting our residents in a senior living and long-term care setting. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents maximize their independence, safety, and quality of life through meaningful, goal-directed therapeutic activities. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Trilogy, you will provide hands-on care to seniors who may be recovering from illness, surgery, or injury, or who are managing chronic conditions. You will help carry out individualized treatment plans designed by the Occupational Therapist, focusing on activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and functional mobility. You will guide residents through therapeutic exercises, balance and coordination activities, energy conservation strategies, and the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices to promote safe and independent functioning. Your day-to-day work will include carefully observing resident performance, documenting progress in accordance with regulatory and company standards, and communicating changes in condition or response to treatment to the supervising Occupational Therapist and the interdisciplinary care team. You will collaborate closely with nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, social services, and other team members to ensure that each resident receives coordinated, person-centered care. You will provide education and support to residents and their families, helping them understand recommended strategies for safety, independence, and continuing progress. Trilogy Health Services values a compassionate, positive workplace culture built on teamwork and respect. In this role, you will be part of a supportive environment that encourages professional growth, ongoing learning, and the development of your clinical skills. You will have the opportunity to participate in care planning, contribute ideas to enhance resident engagement and functional outcomes, and expand your expertise in geriatric and long-term care rehabilitation. The ideal candidate is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who is patient, empathetic, and highly organized, with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with older adults. You should be comfortable working in an on-site, clinical setting that may include skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and assisted living environments. Attention to detail, adherence to infection control and safety protocols, and the ability to manage a varied caseload are essential. Trilogy Health Services offers competitive compensation and benefits, along with a commitment to employee development and advancement. If you are eager to grow professionally while making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors every day, we invite you to bring your skills and compassion to our team as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
