Information Developer

Job Summary: The People Analytics team, working closely with the Talent Acquisition team, is looking for a contingent worker to design, develop and build systems and dashboards, most of which are in PowerBI, to be used for recruitment tracking, reporting, and analytics to inform strategic talent acquisition decisions. In this role, you will leverage their strong analytics technical expertise (data science, data visualizations, and data engineering) to advise, design, and build a system infrastructure with a PowerBI front end that will be used for self-service approaches to deliver critical insights and talent metrics.

Job Requirements:

• A strong understanding of Workday and demonstrated ability to develop and code solutions in PowerBI are essential.
• Some of the work will involve creating or replicating similar views from the tool of an existing talent acquisitions vendor -- building similar capabilities in the house -- but other aspects will involve developing enhancements to the current framework to inform new insights (e.g., identifying time spent in each stage of the recruitment process to identify bottlenecks).
• This work will accelerate access to critical business insights, inform talent decisions, and shed light on previously unconnected people metrics leading to improved recruitment practices, organizational effectiveness, and an enhanced team member experience.
• Knowledge of HR data, analytics, processes, and systems (with a focus on PowerBI development expertise) will help deliver a self-service solution that will meet critical stakeholder needs.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Analyze customer information requirements and product certifications to define technical content strategy and plan.
• Code, build, compile, and test online information and sets and test system hardware to create information deliverables and provide feedback on ease of use and user interfaces to product development.
• As a customer advocate, helps define/refine product requirements. Develops standards and style documents, templates, scripts, style sheets, and script and graphic libraries to ensure a familiar look and feel. Interfaces with cross-functional areas as a member of the product development team, such as HR, test, and support.
