A travel opportunity is available for Special Education Teachers with expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to support Extended School Year (ESY) services. This role is based in Minneapolis, MN, offering a rewarding occasion to make a meaningful impact during July.

Assignment Dates: July 6 - 30 (Monday through Thursday schedule)
Assignment Type: Travel, Extended School Year (ESY)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Autism Behavior Specialist (ABS) needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students academic and social development.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to maximize learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators to promote student success.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License with certification in ASD or ABS.
• Proven experience working with students on the autism spectrum, demonstrating a strong understanding of instructional strategies for ASD.
• Ability to adapt to a travel assignment and effectively manage classroom environments in different school settings.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
