Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher with expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is needed for a travel assignment in Minneapolis, MN. This short-term educational role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support during an Extended School Year (ESY) program.

Location : Minneapolis, MN
Assignment Type : Travel, Temporary
Dates : July 6 - 30, Monday through Thursday

Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Special Education Teaching License with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) or ABS (Autism Behavior Specialist) endorsement
• Experience working effectively with students on the autism spectrum
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral support strategies
• Ability to deliver instruction in a supportive and inclusive manner
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams

Responsibilities:

• Implement specialized instructional programs for students with ASD during ESY
• Develop and adapt teaching materials to meet individual student needs
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure consistent support
• Maintain thorough documentation of student performance and IEP goals
