Job Description for Summer Internship: OMI interns will work cross-functionally with various departments to gain first-hand experience and learn about the creation, marketing, and sales of our products. This collaborative environment will allow you to take on tasks and think for yourself, while gaining valuable experience that can be applied throughout your academic and professional career. OMI is seeking students with areas of interest including, but not limited to: Business Sales Digital Marketing Accounting Responsibilities and Duties for Summer Internship: Answer phone calls and respond to emails Research trends in air care and CPG industries Evaluate current strategies and research new and better ways to reach consumers through traditional and digital marketing. Collaborate with relevant team members and fellow interns on varied short- and long-term projects. Contribute to the creation of internal corporate communications. Be open to organizing, planning, and executing corporate and consumer events. Collaborate with OMI sales managers and interact with customers at retailers such as Ace Hardware, Target, and Whole Foods when needed. Organize and present deliverables to corporate executives at completion of internship. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Requirements for Summer Internship: Above-average written and verbal communication skills. Organized and able to juggle multiple projects with varied deadlines. Flexible schedule up to 40 hours per week. Preferred undergraduate business, marketing, accounting related majors and/or experience.
