Job Description

Our client, an industrial manufacturing organization, is seeking a Straightening Press Operator to join their team. As a Straightening Press Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Straightening Press Operator

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: Based on experience

Shift: 6 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday, overtime is scheduled on Friday

What's the Job?

• Inspect parts for straightness and straighten warped parts to print specifications
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists safely and efficiently
• Set up and operate equipment following all safety guidelines
• Utilize work orders and QC packets to ensure accurate work completion
• Read and interpret blueprints, make necessary machine adjustments for continuous production

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of related experience or training in manufacturing or a similar field
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
• Proficiency with measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with mathematical concepts
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
