Stock Associate (Full-Time) – McCabes Wine & Spirits

Established, high-volume wine & spirits retailer on the Upper East Side is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Stock Associate to join our team.

This is a fast-paced, physical role requiring full-time availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation: $20–$22/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Receive, check-in, and accurately inventory incoming deliveries
• Stock and organize merchandise on the sales floor and in the basement
• Maintain clean, orderly, and well-organized storage and retail areas
• Monitor and report discrepancies between physical inventory and system records
• Assist with restocking and product placement to support sales floor needs
• Complete occasional local deliveries using a hand truck (when needed)
• Support overall store operations and daily upkeep (including occasional sweeping/mopping)

Requirements

• Ability to lift 40+ lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable navigating stairs and using equipment such as conveyor belts
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Prior experience in wine & spirits or a similar retail/warehouse environment preferred
