Anoka, MN Special Education Teacher (Contract, ESY: July 630)

Seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers with expertise in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program from July 6 through July 30, working Monday through Thursday. This contract position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational growth during the summer months.

Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota Special Education Teaching License with ASD or ABS endorsement
• Experience working with students on the autism spectrum and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with autism spectrum disorder
• Follow established IEP goals and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs
• Monitor and document student progress throughout the ESY program
• Maintain a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to coordinate services and ensure continuity of care

• Anoka, MN, with placement at a local school within the district for the duration of the program
