Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to work as a Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for an Extended School Year (ESY) program. The role is based in the Hopkins, MN area and spans from July 6th to July 30th, operating Monday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with ASD needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Monitor and document student achievements and behavioral improvements.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings.

Qualifications:

• A current Minnesota Special Education Teaching License with a focus on ASD or ABS.
• Experience working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs.

Location:

• Hopkins, Minnesota

Schedule:

• Contract position for the Extended School Year program.
• July 6th through July 30th.
• Monday to Thursday schedule.
