Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher is needed for the 2025-2026 school year, with an immediate start date through May 2026. This contract position is located in Greenville, MI, serving students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Candidates will work with self-contained classroom style caseloads, supporting students with varying behaviors in inclusive and specialized settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Emotional Impairments certification or Autism endorsement required
• Experience teaching in self-contained classrooms preferred
• Ability to manage diverse behaviors with flexibility and professionalism
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and students
• Commitment to providing individualized educational support

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Providing direct instruction tailored to students unique learning needs
• Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families to support student success
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
