Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with hands-on experience in Photovoltaic applications and fixture installation. As a Solar Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems for both residential and commercial clients. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of promoting sustainable energy solutions.

Duties

• Remove and ReInstall solar panels and related equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
• Conduct electrical work including wiring, connections, and DC voltage installations.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine cleaning on solar arrays.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced experience as a Solar Technician or in a similar role within the electrical field.
• Lift, pull, or carry the average solar panel weighting 40-60 LBS
• **Comfortable on roof pitches up to 45 degrees**
• Comfortable working at heights in safety harness
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including dc voltage applications.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with commercial electrician standards and practices is preferred.
• Ability to operate power tools, hand tools efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
