Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to perform expert alterations and repairs on a variety of garments, including bridal/formal wear, suits, and daily apparel. The ideal candidate has a passion for garment construction, takes pride in precise stitching, and ensures timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform precise alterations (hemming, taking in/letting out seams, shortening sleeves, tapering) on casual and formal garments.
• Repair garments, including zipper replacements, replacing buttons, and patching.
• Conduct fittings with clients to measure, pin, and mark garments accurately.
• Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, and pressing equipment efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with industrial sewing machines and hand-stitching techniques.
• Strong knowledge of fabric types and garment construction.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Friendly customer service skills.
