Opportunity:
RN - Correctional Facility Nurse
Job Details:
• 26-week assignment
• Monday through Friday schedule with AM/PM rotating shifts between 6:00 AM and 10:30 PM
• Self-scheduling model utilized for shift planning
• Holidays and weekends scheduled occasionally
• Overtime is available
• Provide emergent and ongoing care for patients with significant medical needs
• Serve as a care manager and patient care navigator
• Support a long-term care unit and palliative care program
• Ensure the safety of the patient population within a 24/7 medium custody correctional facility

This correctional institution is the only medium custody 24/7 facility in the region, uniquely housing a long-term care unit and a palliative care program. The facility serves a patient population with complex and significant medical needs, requiring skilled nursing professionals who can provide both emergent and ongoing care. The organization is committed to maintaining the safety and well-being of its patient population through dedicated clinical staff.
