Job Description

Better Life Plans is a dynamic and growing company that assists clients with their debt settlement programs through our relationships with attorneys and law firms across the United States. Our firm is currently seeking a remote Quality Assurance Specialist to perform advanced duties related to the evaluation and improvement of full-service activities performed by our team of paralegals working under our Better Life Plans (BLP) division. Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the Quality Assurance Specialist will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and our organization’s operating standards.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Train in BLP-owned systems and processes.
  • Evaluate different Business Units in the Full-Service Department.
  • Ensure data integrity in company CRM, make recommendations to supervisors on the cleansing of rogue data, and monitor accuracy of data entered on an ongoing basis.
  • Review court forms for accuracy and suitability, ensuring the correct legal template was used and completed correctly.
  • Make recommendations to supervisors on process improvements to eliminate NIGO paperwork.
  • Review Business Units workflow and processes to ensure completed accurately.
  • Evaluate process adherence, confirm whether all steps in the process were completed in order and not missed, the correct person received all required items, and all required legal documents moved smoothly and timely through the entire lawsuit process.
  • Provide results on success rates to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance Supervisor to improve Quality Assurance scoring in the department.
  • Track trends in success rates and report findings to supervisors.
  • Crosstrain on other Quality Assurance roles and scorecards to provide as-needed coverage during peak business seasons and vacations.

  • Attend company meetings and events.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

  Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working as a paralegal or legal assistant, 3 years.
  • Experience working as a quality assurance analyst, 3 years.
  • Understand and able to use basic office equipment and software.

Full Time; Non-Exempt role
Schedule: Monday through Friday - 9:00am - 5:30pm EST
Pay: Weekly Pay;
Hourly pay rate - $21.50 per hour
