Job Description

Client of Mississippi is looking for a QA Tester for a 6 month contract. This person would be doing testing for MyBlue is your personal health website, where you can find simple, smart tools and resources designed to help you get organized, save money, and live healthier. Client & Cross of Mississippi's myBlue app gives health and wellness benefit plan members convenient, on-the-go access to their personalized benefit information.
• View benefits "at a glance" including provider and prescription drug co-pays, deductibles and coinsurance.
• Never worry about leaving your ID card at home with the virtual ID Card.
• View 15 months of claims history as soon as they are paid.
• Find prescription drug information, including claims, co-pays and lower cost alternatives.

• Locate a Community PLUS Network Pharmacy, including those open 24 hours.
This person will be doing automated testing using Katalon and manual testing. Katalon experience is not required but is preferred. Regression testing and functionality testing is must have experience, and whitebox testing is preferred. This person will need to have the ability to collaborate with the team to create test plans & they will also be executing test plans.
The QA Tester II is responsible for coordinating test plan and test case development, facilitating planning and execution of application testing, resolving problems, and implementing corrective solutions during all aspects of the testing process of assigned applications. The QA Tester II is also responsible for ensuring that assigned test activities are meeting strategic business objectives in accordance with the Approach to Work objectives.
Job-Specific Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field required.
• At least 5 years of software testing experience required.
• Must have demonstrated the ability to resolve conflict, work in a team setting, effectively problem solve, make appropriate decisions, communicate orally and in written form effectively and accomplish results.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills required.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle methodologies and software development standards are essential.
• Strong documentation skills are essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

Must be able to work independently and have good communication with stakeholders as well as IT.
