Seeking a BC/BE Pathologist to join our health center north of Syracuse, NY.

• Join an unopposed well-established group of five Pulmonary/Critical Care BC physicians
• Exclusive subspecialty-focused practice – no competition
• Office conveniently located 5 minutes from the hospital
• Rotational: 1:4 weekly call, hospital rounding and management of 10-bed ICU
• Catchment population: 250,000, including service to Fort Drum (10th Mountain Division)
• Cutting-edge diagnostic and interventional technology , including:
  • Monarch Platform with QUEST AI Technology
  • AI-powered software upgrade that enhances navigation and imaging
  • Improves physician accuracy when reaching and biopsying small, hard-to-reach lung nodules
  • Expands capabilities for minimally invasive lung cancer diagnosis
  • Video/Navigational Ultrasound Bronchoscopy with Cytopathology
  • Certified Sleep Lab (Sleep Medicine certification a plus, not required)
  • Cardiopulmonary Stress Lab

• Teaching opportunities with ACGME/AOA residency programs in Family Medicine & Internal Medicine
• Highly collaborative, collegial environment with Thoracic Surgery and multidisciplinary teams

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual Base Salary $431,932
• Signing Bonus $50,000
• Annual Educational Loan Repayment $20,000
• Relocation Reimbursement $15,000

• 290-bed not-for-profit hospital near Kingston, ON and Syracuse, NY
• Team of 190 physicians across 45 specialties
• Full-time hospital-employed role joining two experienced BC Pathologists 24/7 full-service laboratory performing 1,000+ tests daily
• Accredited by NYSDOH, Joint Commission, and AABB
• Additional Laboratory Capabilities
• The department performs its own immunohistochemical (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) staining in-house using the Leica BOND-MAX III automated stainer, enabling high-throughput, reproducible results and rapid diagnostic turnaround.
• Digitally printed blocks and slides minimize labeling errors and ensure full traceability throughout the specimen workflow.
• Equipped with state-of-the-art Siemens Atellica chemistry analyzers and a modern LIS, supporting a robust test menu and efficient workflow.
