DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Under the supervision of the Service Manager, the purpose of the position is to respond to assigned service work orders, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment as needed.
Requirements:EXAMPLES OF FUNCTIONS:
Troubleshoot/inspect and test equipment upon malfunction or breakdown, determining repairs and parts needed to repair to return equipment to operating condition.
If needed disassemble, inspect and replace worn or broken parts.
Fit and adjust new or repaired parts as requested or needed.
Test all repaired equipment to ensure the required repair is effective and equipment is functional.
Maintain a clean work area, cleaning up any debris and or garbage upon completion of work orders.
Change filters as required and according to maintenance schedules.
Enter notes and add parts used to each work order assigned upon completion.
Completing all forms in electronic format as required.
Maintain assigned vehicle, tools and equipment.
Clean containment sumps when required and when debris is introduced.
Obtain and maintain required certifications .Performs related duties as directed.
MINIMUM TRAINING/EXPERIENCE :
Post High School education in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting/repair area, including 2-4 years’ experience in service technician fields. Candidates may be considered if a combination of education, training and experience are proven.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Candidates selected for hire may be subject to a drug test and employment will be contingent on the results of said test. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, i.e., lifting 40-50 lbs, kneeling, etc .Must have a valid Wisconsin Drivers License and meet the criteria to be place on Walt’s Petroleum Service approved drivers list.
