Now, you have the opportunity to join usThe Nurse Administrator is responsible and accountable for the clinical operations of the Nursing Department on an assigned shift to ensure continuity of patient care. You will collaborate with Patient Care Directors and others in planning and implementing high quality, safe patient care. You will act as a consultant to staff and is a member of the Nursing Leadership Team. In addition to managing scheduling, staffing and supplies, you will participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of short- and long-range goals. You will also be accountable for monitoring staff compliance with regulatory and hospital requirements.This position will work all shifts at New York Presbyterian Hospital Westchester Behavioral Health Center.Preferred CriteriaPsychiatric Mental Health Nursing CertificationBCLS /ACLSRequired Criteria3 years of recent progressive leadership experienceMasters in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degree. If currently pursuing a Masters must obtain within 1 year of hire.
