Digital Marketing ConsultantJob OverviewWe are seeking a Digital Marketing Consultant to serve as a strategic marketing partner to a portfolio of financial advisors. In this client-facing role, you will develop and execute customized marketing strategies that help advisors attract prospects, engage clients, and grow their businesses.The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and is comfortable managing multiple client relationships while driving measurable marketing results.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Marketing & ConsultingServe as the primary marketing consultant for up to 13 financial advisors.Develop customized marketing strategies aligned to each advisor's business goals, target audience, and growth objectives.Conduct discovery conversations to identify advisor needs and recommend strategic marketing solutions.Lead recurring strategy meetings to present recommendations, campaign results, and ongoing opportunities.Content & Campaign ManagementDevelop and manage content calendars across multiple channels.Create content pillars and messaging strategies.Write and edit marketing copy for email, social media, blogs, newsletters, and other digital marketing channels.Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including campaign strategy, messaging, and coordination of creative assets.Support social media marketing initiatives and content distribution strategies.Assist with paid advertising campaigns by developing ad copy and contributing to campaign strategy.Analytics & OptimizationMonitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance and campaign effectiveness.Translate performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.Utilize analytics and reporting to identify opportunities for optimization and future growth.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with graphic design and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and effective campaign execution.Collaborate with advisor support teams and stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.Required QualificationsExperience3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or communications.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing strategies.Experience creating marketing plans from strategy through implementation and measurement.Marketing ExpertiseStrong knowledge of:Content marketingSocial media marketingEmail marketingWebsite content and optimizationSEO fundamentalsPaid advertising conceptsLead generation strategiesAbility to develop strategic recommendations based on campaign performance and data analysis.Client-Facing & Communication SkillsExperience managing client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Comfortable leading presentations and facilitating strategic discussions.Ability to think critically and respond confidently to client questions.Organization & OwnershipExcellent project management and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and follow-through on projects.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Preferred QualificationsExperience with marketing automation, CRM, or digital marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Broadridge, FMG, or similar solutions.Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and marketing reporting tools.Experience within financial services, wealth management, or other highly regulated industries.Understanding of event marketing and webinar promotion.Core CompetenciesStrategic Marketing PlanningContent Development & CopywritingSocial Media MarketingEmail MarketingDigital AdvertisingMarketing Analytics & ReportingClient Relationship ManagementProject ManagementPresentation & Communication SkillsCross-Functional CollaborationBrand StewardshipProblem Solving & Critical ThinkingInterview ProcessSecond-Round ExerciseMarketing strategy simulation.Candidate will be presented with a hypothetical advisor scenario.Expected to assess business needs, recommend a marketing strategy, and demonstrate consulting, communication, and strategic thinking skills.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $59.31/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
