What you need to know

• Hourly Pay $25.88
• Monday-Thursday, Between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (40 hours per week)
• Full Time, Temporary (3-months)
• Location Mesa

What you'll be doing
This position will provide support with marketing, community outreach, and public engagement efforts. You will help promote water conservation programs, department initiatives, events, and community messaging through digital and print communications.

You will be responsible for...

• Create engaging content for social media platforms and department website.
• Assist with basic video production, filming, and editing.
• Provide graphic design support for campaigns and outreach materials.
• Design flyers, door hangers, and promotional materials.
• Support execution of marketing and awareness campaigns.
• Assist with event planning and promotion.
• Provide on-site event support, coordination, and setup assistance.
• Capture photos and videos at events for future content use.
• Create post-event social media and website content.
• Help maintain brand consistency across all communications.
• Performs related duties as required.

What skills & experience you'll bring to us

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, or related field.
• Strong writing, content creation, and organizational skills.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar tools.
• Social media content experience (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Video filming and editing experience.
• Photography and photo editing experience.
• Website content management experience.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team environment.
