Job Description

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator- 1st Shift

Location: HIGHLAND, NY

Pay Range: $18.00-$20.00/hr

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm)
No Friday's Saturdays or Sundays !!

What's the Job?

• Operate a variety of machines including sheet metal punching, forming, drilling, tapping, cutting, bending, and sanding.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Interface with other departments to accomplish production tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

What's Needed?

• Preferably with machine shop experience and familiarity with manufacturing and power tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Steel or composite toe work boots.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in metal fabrication or machine operation.
