Live-In Nanny / Family Assistant (Full-Time)

THIS IS A LIVE-IN POSITION

Location: Mt. Kisco, NY

Schedule: Monday – Saturday

Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

(Not all hours are active working hours; there is downtime during the school day.)

Compensation: $30–$40/hour paid via W2

Housing Provided: Private mother-in-law suite available or private room inside the home

Start Date: 8/17/2026

We are a warm family of four in Mt. Kisco seeking a patient, engaging, and dependable live-in nanny/family assistant to become part of our household long-term.

Our two children, ages 7 and 11, thrive with structure, consistency, kindness, and positive engagement. This role is ideal for someone calm, nurturing, emotionally steady, and genuinely fulfilled by helping children grow and succeed.

The position focuses primarily on childcare support, with light household help during school hours.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare Support

• Morning routines including dressing, breakfast, and school preparation

• After-school supervision, engagement, and support

• Dinner and snack assistance

• Bath time and bedtime routines

• Maintaining a calm, structured, and safe environment

• Positive redirection and consistent support throughout daily routines

Household Support

• Light housekeeping and tidying of common areas and children’s rooms

• Kitchen cleanup and organization

• Occasional simple meal prep for the children

• Household errands as needed

What We’re Looking For

• A naturally patient, calm, and nurturing personality

• Someone who enjoys connecting with children, not simply supervising them

• Comfortable with hands-on caregiving including bathing, dressing, and toileting support

• Reliable, communicative, and emotionally steady

• Willingness to learn and consistently follow household routines and behavioral strategies

• Experience with autism or developmental differences is welcomed but not required

• Ability to drive is strongly preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of solid nanny experience in a private home

• Previous live-in experience preferred

• Excellent references from current and previous employers

• Strong English communication skills

• Ability to work independently and proactively

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
