Job Description
Job Description The role in short
The Cleaning Coordinator keeps the team performing at its best - visiting job sites, coaching cleaners, coordinating schedules, and jumping in as a cleaner when the team needs it. You are the connective tissue between the sales team, the cleaners, and company leadership: making sure promises are kept, standards are maintained, and the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
Who thrives in this role
•
Systems thinker You believe in process and take satisfaction in executing it consistently. You don't cut corners - you close loops.
⬆
Natural motivator You build morale and earn trust. People want to meet your standard because you make them feel capable of it.
↺ Calm adapter Last-minute callout? Schedule reshuffled by noon? You redirect and keep moving without losing composure.
Direct, not harsh You can tell someone their work missed the mark - clearly and without drama. Feedback is a tool, not a confrontation.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Quality visits. Travel to active job sites to observe cleaner performance, make corrections in real time, and document outcomes in client records.
- Admin and records. Enter performance notes, update client files, and ensure cleaners have the printed paperwork they need before each job.
- Training and coaching. Participate in onboarding alongside leadership, own ongoing skill development for all cleaners, and provide hands-on training and support when standards slip.
- Hands-on cleaning. Fill in as an active cleaner whenever needed - including same-day coverage for callouts - without treating it as beneath the role.
Probably not for you if...
You need a detailed hourly schedule to feel productive, avoid difficult conversations to keep the peace, prefer to stay off the tools and manage from a distance, or feel that adapting plans mid-day is stressful rather than energizing.
Requirements - Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to travel between client homes across the Cedar Valley

- A reliable and working smart phone to download work-related apps.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend down comfortably, and maintain an active pace throughout the day
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset, but not required - we will train the right person
- Must pass a criminal background check
Benefits - Part time, flexible schedule with no nights or weekends; 25-35 hours per week
- Supportive work environment with hands-on training
