Provides Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS/ALS), including medical evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of critically ill or injured patients. Responds to both emergency and non-emergency situations involving potential loss of life or serious injury. Assumes leadership in patient care management at pre-hospital or in-hospital emergency scenes and provides training and guidance to less experienced personnel.
