Salary: $12.00 Hourly Location : Multiple locations, LA Job Type: Part Time Job Number: GCA2026 Department: Golf Opening Date: 06/19/2026 Closing Date: 7/3/2026 5:00 PM Central FLSA: Non-Exempt General Summary The Golf Cart Attendant works mainly outside maintaining, renting, and overseeing use of Golf Carts. Requirements and Job Specifications High school graduation or equivalent Valid LA Class E driver's license Some understanding and ability to operate golf course equipment Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions Golf knowledge preferred Basic mathematical skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Functions and Duties Duties include but are not limited to: Washing, charging, and parking golf carts. Picking up trash around facility, performing general janitorial duties in clubhouse; cleaning course restrooms. Identifying carts in need of repair, informing supervisor on duty. Pick up driving range balls. Fixing flat tires and general cart maintenance. Assisting golf course supervisor as assigned. Supplemental Information 29 hours or less per week. PAID TIME OFF : Part-time employees who work a minimum of 29 hours per week and at least 1,000 hours will be eligible to accrue Paid Time Off (PTO) hours. The purpose of the "Paid Time Off" benefit is to allow part time employees greater flexibility to take time off for vacation, sick and/or personal time. The maximum accrual is 40 hours per fiscal year. Once employees reach the cap, the employee will not accumulate any more PTO until some of the time in the account is utilized. After the balance goes below the maximum, the employee will begin accruing PTO again. Except for illness, employees are required to obtain supervisor approval in advance for the time off. PSLF : BREC is a qualifying employer for public service loan forgiveness.
