Fiber & Coax Splicer / Fiber Maintenance Technician Location: Janesville to Oshkosh Corridor, WI Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Overtime Available) Pay: $25-$35/hour + Production Bonus Responsibilities Perform fusion splicing on FTTH and outside plant fiber networks. Troubleshoot, locate, and repair fiber outages. Test fiber using OTDR and other fiber testing equipment. Read splice diagrams, fiber maps, and construction prints. Perform maintenance and emergency restoration work. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule. Complete daily documentation and testing records. Follow all safety standards and procedures. Required Experience Previous experience as a Fiber Splicer or Fiber Maintenance Technician. Hands-on experience with: OTDR testing and troubleshooting Fiber fault isolation and repair Loose Tube, Ribbon, and Single Mode fiber FTTH fiber counts (48-144 count) Backbone/BAU fiber counts (144-432 count) Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work outdoors, lift equipment, work overtime, and participate in an on-call rotation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
