Job Description
Electrician Helper to support licensed electricians by handling manual tasks, preparing materials, and maintaining the job site, including pulling wire, drilling holes, and using hand tools.
· Support & Setup: Carry tools/materials, prepare work areas, and clean up debris.
· Installation Prep: Measure, cut, and bend conduit; drill holes; pull wire through conduit and walls.
· Electrical Assistance: Install or replace outlets, fixtures, and switches; assist in installing circuit breakers and transformers.
· Safety Adherence: Use, clean, and store protective gear and tools; follow all safety regulations.
· Manual Labor: Dig trenches/holes, load/unload trucks, and move heavy electrical equipment.
· Physical Activity: Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing ladders, kneeling, crouching, and working in tight spaces.
· · Environment: Both indoor and outdoor, including construction sites, often with high noise levels.
· Travel outside of the DFW metroplex may be required.
