Computer Operator

Pay Rate: $26 Schedule (6:15 AM 2:15 PM) with days off most likely being Tuesday and Wednesday. We are a 24x7 data center so we work weekends, holidays and bad weather days. Job Code: 82180103 IT Computer operator is the person responsible for monitoring and controlling and batch balancing on all systems, Omega OCM / Cloud software and all computer systems in our company worldwide organization and all other in-house peripheral /software components, and interact with internal and external customers, vendors and support teams, monitor, identify, engage and resolve system alerts, support calls from internal and global omega users.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

• Highly proficient with commands, programs, scripts, advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• IT Operator Software Knowledge Windows Linux

Qualifications/Skills:

• Documentation skills.
• Problem solving for software and hardware.
• Working knowledge of excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.

Previous Experience and Competencies:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Experience: A minimum of 6 months related experience or training or education.

Physical Demands: Ability to regularly stand, crouch, stoop and walk; including pushing and pulling carts and equipment. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
