POSITION: Community Nurse (Regional Nurse )
REPORTS TO: Executive Director/House Manager
JOB SUMMARY: The Community Nurse assumes primary responsibility for coordinating the health care services on a 24 hour /7-day week basis of assigned resident. Participates in individual service planning as well as renewal and maintenance of these plans. Recommends health care service goals and assists in their implementation. Oversees and coordinates work of House Managers and care givers to meet resident needs. Provides clinical services as needed to residents and trains staff to meet resident needs. Coordinates delegation of medication administration / assistance and health care tasks per state regulations, Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS: Must complete probationary period successfully. Needs effective supervisory skills. Must be able to communicate and work with all levels of the company’s Employees effectively. Have the ability to relate to the public, Residents, families, Employees, and other professionals appropriately. Ability to teach and train effectively. Willingness to adhere to assisted living principles in providing services. Ability/ willingness to perform all position responsibilities adequately and apply basic management principles of a Registered Nurse with a minimum of at least one year in home health or geriatric nursing in a similar position. Rehabilitation and restorative experience helpful. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current Registered Nursing License in the state in which you are employed Must have a history of actively demonstrating Frontida’s culture and exhibiting extraordinary care toward Frontida’s residents.
