Sanford Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department, contributing to high-quality, compassionate care within one of the largest health systems in the United States. In this role, you will support providers and clinical teams across our integrated system of clinics, hospitals, and senior living facilities, helping to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. As a CMA at Sanford Health, you will be responsible for rooming patients, obtaining and documenting accurate medical histories and vital signs, preparing patients and exam rooms for visits and procedures, and supporting diagnostic testing and treatments within your scope of practice. You will use our electronic health record to document care, manage tasks, and communicate with providers, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. The CMA will play an important role in patient education, reinforcing provider instructions, reviewing medications, and supporting chronic disease management and preventive care, always maintaining strict attention to infection prevention, privacy, and safety standards. Reflecting Sanford Health’s supportive and inclusive culture, this position works collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to a respectful work environment that values innovation and continuous improvement. You may assist with day-to-day coordination of clinical workflows, serve as a resource to other support staff, and participate in quality and safety initiatives that enhance patient experience and outcomes. This opportunity allows you to grow within a leading healthcare organization, with potential pathways toward roles such as Clinical Care Leader, where you can take on increased responsibility in guiding teams and supporting high-quality patient care. Sanford Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, retirement savings options, and opportunities for ongoing training and professional development. This position may offer a combination of on-site clinical work with some hybrid administrative or coordination responsibilities, depending on clinic needs. If you are a certified medical assistant who is passionate about teamwork, innovation, and delivering compassionate patient care, we invite you to consider advancing your career with Sanford Health.
