As a Claims Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and compliance of all default claims, including Mortgage Insurance (MI) claims. Your responsibilities include validating claims, certifying their accuracy, and facilitating submissions to various entities such as FHA, USDA, PMI, VA, FNMA, and FHLMC. This position requires adherence to all company policies as well as US state and federal regulations, guaranteeing a seamless and compliant claims process. The target pay for this role ranges from $20.00 to $24.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carefully review claims from FHA, VA, PMI, USDA, FNMA, and FHLMC to ensure their accuracy within specified timeframes.
  • Validate and reconcile all associated expenses while complying with agency requirements.
  • Identify and rectify errors detected during the QA claim review before claim submission for reimbursement.
  • Accurately maintain documentation in the Mortgage platform, ensuring effective process tracking.
  • Report any trends or issues identified during the QA process for further analysis.
  • Ensure the timely maintenance and payment of taxes and insurance in compliance with investor and insurer guidelines.
  • Uphold adherence to company policies in managing interests and advances.
  • Conduct internal quality checks on all departmental claim documents.
  • Complete assigned monthly audits to sustain superior quality standards.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of default claims processes for various insurers and investors.
  • Have a foundational grasp of the default servicing process, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, and claims processing.
  • Exhibit knowledge of agency and investor guidelines.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, highlighting teamwork and quality assessment.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Engage effectively with staff and management at all organizational levels.
  • Efficiently manage tasks to meet strict deadlines.
  • Handle multiple tasks under pressure while adapting to changing priorities.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required; some college education preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in mortgage servicing default or QA/QC experience in another field, or a college degree.
  • Availability to work Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with overtime as needed.
