• Direct, hands-on experience with reverse emulsion systems (critical and non-negotiable)

Job Description
Our chemical manufacturing client is seeking a highly experienced Chemical Engineer or Chemical Manufacturing Engineer with deep expertise in reverse emulsion polymer manufacturing to support a critical quality initiative at our Suffolk, VA manufacturing site. This individual will serve as a subject-matter expert, partnering directly with plant leadership to diagnose and resolve persistent quality challenges within a reverse emulsion production line. They do believe that this is an engineering/manufacturing issue and not a chemical issue.
This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on root cause analysis, process evaluation, and expert recommendations. 3‑month SOW-based contract, with the potential for longer-term opportunity.
Compensation:
Up to $70/hr (very negotiable)
