Trillium Professional has a direct hire opportunity in Troy, MI for a CAD Operator. Seeking candidates with a basic background in 3D building modeling and 2D AutoCAD designs to add to their team. Responsibilities The position entails drafting and design opportunities on Telecommunication and Security projects that include Building Information Modeling (BIM), physical layout drawings, installation details and wiring diagrams. Revise designs per mark-ups, redlines or review comments and communicate with Project Managers / Engineers as needed. Collaborate with Project Managers and CAD Operations team members on larger scale, more challenging projects. Open to learn and complete tasks related to job or assignment. Annual salary is $50k/year. If interested, please apply today! Qualifications 1 to 3 years (educational/professional) experience with REVIT. AutoCAD experience is also preferred in addition to REVIT, but not necessary. Must feel comfortable using Computer Aided Design Software exclusively (all day). The candidate must have good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with other team members. Must be organized and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Must be disciplined and self-governing if remote work environment is necessary. Ability to comprehend company drafting standards and apply them daily. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), PDF software, and Google Earth (highly recommended). Associates degree in drafting (or equivalent technical degree). Ability to read Construction Documents, or a willingness to learn how to read them.
