Role Description:

We are seeking creative and motivated Animators with AI experience to support the launch of our Animation Program. This volunteer role is part of a program startup phase, focused on building engaging animated content that supports our mission, storytelling, and educational initiatives.

This is a 6-9 month minimum commitment, with the opportunity to renew. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy blending creativity with emerging technology and want hands-on experience contributing to a growing, mission-driven program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create short-form animated content aligned with program goals and organizational messaging.
• Us e AI-assisted animation tools to support concept development, storyboarding, or production.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate ideas, scripts, or educational concepts into engaging visuals.
• Support the development of animation styles, templates, and workflows for the program.
• Assist with revisions and refinements based on feedback.
• Ensure content is accessible, appropriate, and aligned with organizational values.
• Maintain organized files and documentation related to animation projects.
• Contribute creative ideas to help shape and grow the animation program during its startup phase.

Qualifications:

• Experience with animation (2D, motion graphics, or similar formats).
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., AI-assisted animation, generative visuals, or workflow tools).
• Creative storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
• Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback.
• Interest in mission-driven, educational, or mental health–focused content is a plus.
• Interest in astrology and unconventional/spiritual frameworks as tools for storytelling and character development.
