Job Description

Are your TikTok FYP recommendations suspiciously accurate? Do your friends rely on you to find the best restaurants, coordinate the trip itineraries, and find the latest trends? We're looking for someone who's equal parts trend-obsessed and detail-oriented to join our growing influencer marketing team.

WHO WE ARE

Open Influence is a global, award-winning creator marketing company, providing premium, end-to-end creator marketing solutions. Since 2013, we have been pioneering the creator economy, executing social-first strategies for over 1,500 top brands—including Universal, Spotify, Google, FOX, Target, and more! As a platform-agnostic and talent-agnostic partner, we connect brands with the right creators, on the right channels, to drive measurable impact and business growth. We won’t bury the lead: success in this role requires a creative “free-range” mindset, paired with immaculate project management skills and attention to the finer details. We combine our passion for culture with an infectious commitment to driving meaningful results for our clients. Sure, every agency will have a ‘work hard, play harder’ environment. Our approach is: work smarter, play better. With a 92% renewal rate, brands don’t just work with us—they stay with us. A job description won’t do Open Influence’s company culture justice, but we’ll give you a snapshot in a few bullets. We understand that culture starts at the top. Our management team has an ‘‘open door’ policy at all times, and actively creates safe, inclusive spaces to connect, share, and strategize. We recognize and celebrate each other’s wins, and pick each other up when we stumble (which, spoiler alert: we all do). We aren’t afraid to look in the mirror. We continually learn, grow, and improve what we do and how we do it. Dog-friendly offices. No explanation needed. Plus, a bunch of other perks like Summer (+ ‘No Meeting’) Fridays, phone bill reimbursement, full benefits and more.

THE ROLE

At Open Influence, our mission is to help brands create alongside extraordinary human beings. As an Account Manager, your mission is to facilitate the meaningful partnership between these brands and creators. You’ll be responsible for delivering superior client service for various Open Influence clients. You’ll use your deep understanding of influencer marketing strategy to lead the execution of influencer campaigns, from kickoff to reporting. You will act as a liaison between internal departments, brands, and influencers to ensure campaign strategy is successfully executed, manage talent fulfillment of campaign deliverables, and analyze campaign KPIs to optimize based on key learnings. Responsibilities: End-to-End Campaign Execution: Own the entire influencer campaign process—from ideation and influencer sourcing, through to contract negotiations, creative development, and final reporting. You will oversee the successful execution of campaigns across multiple social platforms ensuring all deliverables are met and executed to the highest standard. Client Strategy & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, acting as their strategic advisor and guiding them through the creative and execution processes. Build and maintain strong relationships, anticipating client needs and proactively identifying new opportunities. Influencer Negotiations: Manage and oversee influencer strategy, outreach, negotiations, and contracts. Be the point person for driving influencer relationships while ensuring that campaign objectives are met. Data-Driven Optimization: Track, analyze, and optimize campaigns, continuously assessing performance and sharing insights to improve future strategies. Make data-backed recommendations to clients that drive tangible business results. Mentorship: Mentor and support more junior staff, providing guidance and fostering professional development. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, creative, and production teams to ensure alignment with client goals and strategy. Help create proposals and ensure seamless communication between teams to deliver top-tier results. Required Skills and Qualifications: 3-4 Years of Agency/Campaign Experience: Proven track record in managing influencer marketing campaigns and client relationships, particularly in high-pressure environments. Social Media Expert: A deep understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Exceptional Project Manager: Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple high-priority projects at once. You thrive in fast-paced environments and can easily manage competing deadlines without compromising quality. Creative & Strategic: You bring a creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box, constantly pushing the envelope with fresh ideas that align with client objectives. Client-Centric & Proactive: You don’t just react to client needs—you anticipate them. You know how to manage client expectations and deliver innovative, results-driven strategies. Location: This is a hybrid role with an expectation of two days per week in our Los Angeles office. The expected salary range for this role is $80,000–$100,000 USD, depending on experience.
